I have a strong interest in MBA since I opted for the commerce stream in my high school. I have always been curious to learn how the management of a company affects the profits or goals of the company. I had a necessary economic and business knowledge, but then being a keen learner, I was not satisfied with this information. So, I chose BBA for my graduation. It gave me a basic idea about how business administration takes place, but I want to learn all the aspects that lie in this study. MBA, with its primary role in the corporate line, has great importance in the success of any business. It helps you learn the various administrations that help any business become considerable like finance, human resource or marketing.
I decided that I should explore MBA in-depth, to understand the business phenomenon and solve the problems effectively. I tried to attend as many MBA courses as possible. Apart from the required courses of Principle of Marketing and International Marketing, I also took electives like Marketing Research and Modern Advertising and studied subjects like consumer behaviour and Fundamentals of marketing on my own. Case studies in this course helped me to link theory with practice, and it was through them that I found myself highly exhilarated by the intellectual challenge and stimulation associated with analyzing market information and formulating strategic plans. Thereby, I have chosen to set my mind and career in Marketing and International Business.
I have always been amazed at how creative marketing can turn any regular product into a stellar frontline venture. While studying marketing, I have realized the quality and creativity of the product define the success of a product in the market, and the companies must invest in innovative marketing ideas. It is fascinating how various methods and tools are used to create popular marketing campaigns. I hope to obtain a Masters in Marketing so that I can harness my creative energy with my knowledge of the market to boost product sales.
My goal is to become a Managing Director eventually and create viable and creative marketing strategies for the company’s products. I am well versed in technological developments and how to utilize these networks to raise awareness of the product in the market. I believe my graduate school has helped me to gain knowledge about the various sectors essential for marketing strategy development and also gain an understanding of international markets to expand marketing globally. It has given me the basic idea of Business Administration in theory but what helped me to apply these skills practically were my internships in the mid-semester breaks during 2nd and 3rd year of my graduation.
In the 2nd year, I completed an internship in Business Administration that gave me much insight into the responsibilities of management of professionals. I was charged with several projects and also ensured workplace harmony. I learned the most important lesson about how to gauge personnel and their teamwork abilities accurately, assigning tasks based on each person’s abilities to complete them effectively and efficiently.
In my final year as an intern, I learned that an MBA is an essential part of management professional’s portfolio. I acquired a great deal of knowledge about International Trade and social media marketing as it was an Export company. I attended a series of training and workshops focusing on how you can attract the right customer at the right time by choosing the right marketing strategy. It sounds simple but involves a fair amount of observation and analysis that you need to do based on your product and target audience.
It has become my goal to pursue a career in marketing management. I feel passionate about it, and it is the area where I can put my 100% efforts to achieve the desired goals for the company. I am also looking forward to understanding further the different challenges that I may encounter, including the interest to offer my talent in the community freely. I believe that this education can help me attain all my goals. Also, I am applying to this MBA program because I believe it will heighten my business skills and tie my experience and knowledge together in a way that will enable me to manage a company as a Managing Director in the future.
